Terms of Service

The rules for accounts, API keys, customer content, published allowances, and services Arnict makes available.

Effective August 11, 2026 · Version 1.1

Zero Data Retention is a service commitment.

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Arnict website, account system, dashboard, API documentation, and any inference services made available by Arnict, Inc. (“Arnict”, “we”). By creating an account or using the API, you agree to these terms.

Arnict is API-first and infrastructure-led: we directly host open-model AI inference on infrastructure we operate and expose it through one OpenAI-compatible API. We are not a broker, marketplace, router, or proxy over third-party inference hosts.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and a password of at least 8 characters. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.

Every account receives a Pay As You Go subscription on creation. Selecting Developer Pass at launch records an upgrade request; it does not charge a payment method or activate paid access by itself.

3. API keys

You may create, copy once, and revoke API keys from the dashboard. The full key secret is displayed only at creation; stored records are hashed, and only a prefix and metadata remain visible afterwards.

API keys must remain server-side. You must not expose keys in browser code, mobile clients, or public repositories. You are responsible for all usage under your keys.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, attempt to probe or disrupt Arnict infrastructure, or circumvent metering, allowances, or referral rules.

Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and fraudulent or otherwise ineligible referrals may be rejected or revoked.

5. Model licenses

Models served by Arnict are open models subject to their respective public licenses. You are responsible for complying with the license terms of the models you use, including any use restrictions published by the model authors.

Arnict hosts the model weights and serving path; model intellectual property remains with its respective owners.

6. Customer content and Zero Data Retention

You retain all rights you hold in prompts, inputs, completions, and outputs (“Customer Content”). You authorize Arnict to process Customer Content only for the transient period needed to provide the requested inference response.

Arnict will not retain prompt or completion content after the request ends. Customer Content will not be written to application logs, databases, usage records, or backups, and will not be used for model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, human review, advertising, or sale.

Arnict will not send Customer Content to a third-party inference provider. Minimum operational metadata—including account and key identifiers, model, token counts, latency, status, timestamp, and equivalent cost—may be retained for security, allowances, reliability, and billing; it excludes prompt and completion content.

7. Billing and allowances

Pay As You Go costs $0 per month and includes $5 of free equivalent API usage every month. Developer Pass costs $29.99 per month and provides $40 of equivalent API usage per rolling week and $120 per billing month.

Equivalent API usage is calculated from the published Kimi K3 token rates: $2.50 per 1M input tokens, $0.25 per 1M cached input tokens, and $12.50 per 1M output tokens. Allowances are usage limits, not cash, account credit, or a transferable balance. Unused allowance does not roll over.

The Developer Pass weekly window begins with your first API request and resets every seven days from that anchor. There are no five-hour windows.

Paid balance top-ups and the payment gateway are not connected at launch. Developer Pass requests do not charge you at launch, and top-up or payment gateway activation will be announced before any charging occurs.

8. Refunds

At launch, Arnict does not connect a payment gateway or collect subscription charges. Once paid billing is active, any refund issued by Arnict or required by applicable law will be exclusively prorated against the unused portion of the current paid subscription period.

We do not provide refunds for consumed API usage, used or expired allowances, vouchers, or other amounts already applied to an account. This section does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Founding access

The founding-month offer is limited to the first 100 eligible customer accounts, with eligibility confirmed at signup. Founding accounts receive up to $60 of equivalent usage per rolling week and $180 during the first paid billing month. Standard allowances apply after the founding month.

10. Referrals

Each qualified referral issues two separate $30 API usage vouchers: one to the referring account and one to the referred account. Vouchers are separate from subscription allowances.

Arnict may reject or revoke vouchers for self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraudulent referrals, or otherwise ineligible referrals.

11. Availability

The production inference API is not operational as of the effective date; Kimi K3 API availability is “Coming soon” and the status page is the authority for current availability. API examples are illustrative until the endpoint is live.

Arnict does not guarantee availability, throughput, or latency at this stage, and makes no performance guarantees beyond what the status page states.

12. Arnict intellectual property

The Arnict website, documentation, and service interfaces are the property of Arnict, Inc. These terms do not grant you ownership of Arnict software, branding, documentation, or infrastructure.

13. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arnict disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to Arnict in the three months preceding the claim, or $100 if no amounts were paid.

14. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections concerning licenses, intellectual property, liability, and confidentiality of key material survive termination.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be dated and presented on the website or sent by email before they take effect where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
